Hyderabad: According to the Wakf records, masjid Nana Bagh has five acres and 10 guntas Wakd property in Basheer Bagh on which Jaishree Kirloskar Hospital, Lok Ayukta office and a portion of Old MLA Quarters are located.
According to the previous wakf records, 16 acres of lands was registered but later, it was restricted to 5 acres and 10 guntas by manipulating the records. Wakf Board has sought revenue records for verification. CEO of Wakf Board, Mr. Mohammed Asadullah is facing a lot of political pressure but he refused to accept any such illegal pressures. After the receipt of notices, the illegal occupants of Wakf property would be asked to become the tenants of Wakf Board.
It is expected that some of the illegal occupants might go to court. Wakf Board has kept ready a team of senior lawyers to pursue the case in the court.
