Hyderabad, October 12: Kadapa MP Jagan Mohan Reddy’s camp has received yet another blow from the APCC with the party directing the Chittoor DCC president to issue show-cause notice to former TUDA chairman Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, a staunch loyalist of Jagan.
APCC president D Srinivas, in an order issued today, has directed Chittoor DCC president M Sudhakar to issue show-cause notice to Bhaskar Reddy of Tummalagunta village in Tirupati rural mandal (Chandragiri Assembly segment) and to seek a written explanation within a week’s time why disciplinary action should not be taken against him for alleged anti-party activities. The APCC was in receipt of several complaints against Bhaskar Reddy for his tirade against party leadership, he noted.
It may be recalled that the APCC chief has recently issued show-cause notice to Nellore DCC president Y Gopal Reddy for making an appeal to the district cadres to participate in the Odarpu Yatra of Jagan.
Later, he issued an order by dropping Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy from the post of APCC secretary and suspended him from the primary membership of the party with immediate effect. He also issued show-cause notice to Sridhar Reddy for his alleged anti-party activities and directed him to give written explanation within a week.
Another show-cause notice was issued to Tirupati city Congress committee president P Pratap Reddy for adopting a resolution (in favour of Odarpu Yatra) in the city Congress Committee meeting.
