Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader K Jana Reddy has said that the incident took place in Warangal former MP Siricilla Rajaiah’s residence was a sad one.
Speaking to the media at Assembly premises here on Wednesday, Jana Reddy said that the police were interrogating the case and it will not affect the prospects of the Congress party in on going Warangal by-elections. Urging the Congress party workers to work hard for the victory of the party candidate, Jana Reddy said that the party leaders would strive for the victory of the party candidate. Extending sympathy to Rajaiah’s family, Jana Reddy said that the incident was purely a family matter and personal though Rajaiah belongs to Congress party.
Opposition party leader in Legislative Assembly Mohammed Ali Shabbir said that the party has no link with the incident took place in Rajaiah’s residence. He said that the law will take its own course of action. (NSS)
