These days there is a rush for filling Passport applications at Passport Seva Kendra in Shaikpet area there is a scarcity of Notary Non-Judicial Stamps, which are required to be affixed on the affidavit to be submit along with passport application. Due to shortage of these stamps, the Stamp Vendors are selling these stamps by taking exorbitant amounts from the applicants. Near the Seva Center there is an office of Notary. Normally Notarization Fees is between Rs.40 and 50 but here exploiting the needs of the applicant they are charging Rs.150 to 180. The people are forced to pay the excess amount. The authorities are requested to take necessary steps in this regard.
