Congress senior leader K Kesava Rao has said that there would be no serious betrayal of the people, than denying Telangana.
Talking to the media here on Thursday, he said if the government does not decide on the Telangana issue at the all-party meeting at New Delhi on December 28, Congress leaders would take firm decisions and would only sail with the people. he said all the Congress leaders of Telangana were with a firm stand on the statehood issue.
He said they would also talk about the injustice that would be done to the people of Telangana through the Polavaram project. He said people or they would not trust the Congress party, if it does not concede Telangana state.
