Ambassador of Norway in India Nils Ragnar Kamsvag has said that Norway was ready to invest in Telangana state. Norway’s team under the leadership of Nils Ragnar Kamsvag called on Panchayatraj and Municipal Minister KT Ramarao here at Secretariat on Tuesday. They discussed about mercantile relations and business development with Norway.
On this occasion, the Minister asked the Norway, which has the highest sovereign fund across the world, to invest in infrastructure development sector in Hyderabad.
Minister explained to the ambassador about the plans for the Hyderabad city development and said that Telangana was the best place for establishment of industries. The Norway team showed interest on Skyways, renovation of tanks and cleaning of Musi river etc. Kamsvag has assured the Minister that he will organize a meeting with the fund managers in this regard. Kamsvag said that the Norway companies have interest in IT and Life Sciences. Kamsvag invited the Minister to attend the meeting of Norway companies to be held in Delhi in March.
