Srinagar [India]: Commending alertness and high morale of all troops deployed in Srinagar Valley, Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General D. Anbu on Saturday stressed upon the need to sustain vigil and thwart any attempts of infiltration from across.
Army Commander Lieutenant General J S Sandhu visited the LC formations and units where he was briefed by Chinar Corps commanders on ground regarding the operational and logistics preparedness.
The Army Commander also took stock of the situation in hinterland and impressed upon everyone to continue targeting the terrorist groups while safeguarding the interests of the common people in close coordination with all security agencies and civil administration. (ANI)
