Normalcy returns to Bhainsa, but internet suspension continues

Nirmal: Normalcy returned to violence-hit Bhainsa town of Telangana, where over 20 houses and 20 bikes were torched by a section of people resulting in communal conflicts on Sunday midnight and Monday. However, internet suspension continued in the area for the fourth consecutive day.

Business establishments resumed their work on Thursday and people started moving in the town. However, security forces kept vigilance to prevent any untoward incident.

According to Nirmal Superintendent of Police (SP) C Shashidhar Raju, Bhainsa town was peaceful and no communal clashes were reported on Thursday. 13 cases were booked and 68 persons taken into custody in connection with the communal conflicts.

He further informed that around 1,000 policemen including personnel of Rapid Action Force were deployed in the streets of the town as a precautionary measure.

Meanwhile, customers of various financial institutions and many other fields are having a tough time making transactions as internet services continued to be suspended for the fourth consecutive day, hitting banking and other sectors.
