Maulana Azad National Urdu University Student Union elections were held today. Nooruz Zoha emerged victorious in a three cornered race for the coveted post of President.
He will be the 3rd president of the University’s student body. MANUU is a University with all India Jurisdiction. According to Prof. Abdul Wahid, Chief Returning Officer, M. Aqib Nazer, M. Shahab Alam, Abdul Majid and Mohiuddin Ansari were declared elected for the posts of vice president, secretary, joint secretary and executive council member respectively. Besides the headquarters, polling was also held at campuses of University at Bangaluru, Lucknow, Bhopal, Srinagar, Darbhanga, Aurangabad, Asansol and Sambhal. (INN)
