Hyderabad, November 24: In an appalling incident parents lost life of their 22 year old son for not bribing the ward boy to arrange oxygen cylinder at Erragadda government hospital.
It has been told that G Krishna an autodriver by occupation, resident of Mamadpally was admitted to government hospital on November 22. After checkup doctors put him on oxygen. When the oxygen cylinder got empty his parents asked the ward boy Mallaya to bring another oxygen cylinder. But the ward boy demanded Rs. 200 as bribe to arrange for the cylinder. On which parents expressed their helplessness and pleaded Mallaya for arranging oxygen cylinder.
However cold-blooded ward boy didn’t heed to their request and started arguments. Meanwhile Krishna died of breathlessness.
Following the death of their son the infuriated parents strongly protested and lodged a complaint against the incident at Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar police station.
Inspector S R Nagar, Krishna Murthy told that police had registered a case on the complaint of Krishna’s parents and arrested Mallaya. Investigations are underway.
