None can destroy Cong: Chiranjeevi

Union Minister K Chiranjeevi today observed that no one can destroy the Congress party of 125 years history. Reacting to his younger Pawan Kalyan who gave a “clarion call” to “Eliminate Congress and Save Nation” while launching his “Jana Sena” political party, Chiranjeevi opined that the former is a person with emotions and passion. So far, many people targeted the Congress by saying that they will dump it into the Bay of Bengal. But nothing has happened, he observed. No one can smash or face the Congress which is oldest in the country that paves way for people to claim that they are Indians, Chiranjeevi stated. Though my younger brother said that he has no caste, creed, religion and region, he maintained that he is an Indian, he said. He suggested that one should not resort to mudslinging activity on a particular party like the Congress. Pawan should have shifted his focus on other political parties also while targeting the Congress, Chiranjeevi observed. I just don’t know about the ideology and policies of Jana Sena just like media do, he maintained. When asked whether any political party is behind Jana Sena rhetoric, Chiranjeevi stated that he is unaware of the things. He said that he will not abstain from talking to his brother for targeting the Congress Party with which he is associating.
However he maintained that Pawan should not have indulged in a blame game, he said. Of course, anyone can float a party which will survive only with peoples’ support. One should maintain restraint while blaming others he observed.
To a query on Jana Sena chief’s scathing attack on the Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi and deputy Chief Rahul Gandhi, Chiranjeevi maintained that Pawan is a sensitive man with emotions. Anyone can float a party but should be in a position to sustain and serve the society while addressing the problems.
He criticized political parties for changing tack on bifurcation and its consequences. He squarely blamed the political parties for trying to gain in the guise of politics. Chiranjeevi alleged that the leaders for selfish politics blaming the Congress on Telangana statehood division, he said. (NSS)
