CPI has alleged that the TRS government was trying to hatch a conspiracy to see that the future generations not to know the spirit of Telangana Armed Struggle, sacrifices of martyrs and the history.
Speaking to the media here on Saturday, CPI state secretary Chada Venkat Reddy recalled that the day September 17, 1948 was the day achieved the democratic rights while abolishing 225 year old dynastic rule. It was sad that the government denied the celebrations on the day the Hyderabad state merged with Indian Union.
He demanded the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to tender apology to the entire Telangana for not conducting celebrations. Chada expressed anger over TRS government saying that nothing reached to the people in its two and half year rule. (NSS)
