In Kamepally village of Guntur District, Non-Muslim breathier donated a piece of land admeasuring 300sq yards for the construction of a mosque. Sahitya Trust (IMRP) constructed a beautiful mosque on this land. This village has 40 Muslim houses in a locality of 400 households of that village. This village also has 4 churches. The need for a mosque was felt since a very long time. The residents of this village when they saw that there are 4 churches, they also felt the need for a mosque. They unanimously decided to construct a mosque in the village.
The grandsons of Basawyya and Achamma donated 300 Sq yards land. Sahitya Trust constructed the mosque spending Rs. 6 lakh. This mosque was inaugurated a few days back. A non-muslim also declared that he would contribute Rs. 500 per month for the expenses of this mosque.
