As the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation staff joined the non cooperation movement lifting of garbage from the city has been hindered.

Garbage not being cleared from the posh localities like Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Mahindra Hills, Panjagutta, Somajiguda and other areas from the last one week foul and nauseating smell has started emanating in localities. While clearing of garbage has also been stopped in the old city areas for the past few days.

When the government officials were contacted in this regard it was told that no one is ready to work due to non cooperation movement.
