Nokia 7 Plus to get a share of Android Pie

Espoo: HMD Global has announced that its Nokia 7 Plus will be the first smartphone from its portfolio to run the newest Android 9 Pie OS. It will be one of the first non-Google smartphones to get the latest sweet treat by Google.

HMD Global chief product officer Juho Sarvikas took to Twitter to make the announcement. He wrote, “Everybody wants a piece of the Pie! We are starting the roll out of Android™ 9 on #Nokia7Plus. Which of its delicious new features is your favorite?”

Google rolled out its Android 9 Pie OS early August. The latest iteration of the popular mobile OS brings in tons of new features including improved notifications and a neat design.
