Nod given to road inventory in Greater Hyderabad

Hyderabad, January 14: THE state government has accorded administrative sanction for Rs 4.85 crore first stage of the road inventory and condition consultancy work in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) area.

In August last year the standing committee and the general body accorded approval and recommended to the government administrative sanction for an amount of Rs 7.95 crore towards taking up the road inventory and condition consultancy in GHMC area.

The consultancy job will be taken up in two stages based on the importance and priority.

In stage1, Preparation of DPR for arterial and sub-arterial roads of 200 KM’s (Rs1.54 crore), Labelling and Inventory survey of connecting and local roads of 6,000 KM (Rs 3.31 crore) will be taken up. In stage II, another Rs 3.10 crore as sanctioned for preparation of DPR for aterial and subarterial Roads for 400 KM stretch.
