Hyderabad: There will be no water supply in some parts of the city for 24 hours from 6 am on January 8 due to replacement works taken up at all 132/6.6KV substations in Krishna Drinking Water Schemes at Kodandapur, Nasarlapally and Godakondla by the TS Transco and also to attend other emergency leakages on Krishna Drinking Water Schemes Phase-I pipeline and other works.
According to a press release issued by the Hyderabad Metro Water Supply & Sewerage Board, the shut down is proposed for in Riyasathnagar, Santosh Nagar, Vinaynagar, Saidabad, Asmangadh, Chanchalguda, Yakutpura, Malakpet, Moosarambagh, Narayanaguda, Boggulakunta, Adikmet, Shivam, Chilkalguda, Aliabad, Miralam and Kishanbagh. The other affected areas include Sahebanagr, BN Reddy Nagar, Balapur, Barkas, Maisaram, Bandlaguda, Mailardevpally, Shastripuram, Budvel, Golden Heights, Suleman Nagar, Hyderguda, Allabanda, Gandhamguda, Bhojagutta, Asifnagar, Elugutta, Habsiguda, Nacharam, Tarnaka, Lalapet, Boudhanagar and Marredpally apart from Meerpet, Shaikpet, Madhapur, Gachibowli, Prashad Nagar, Moulali, HB Colony, Mallapur, Boduppal and Beerappagadda. The HMWSSB requested the consumers to use water conservatively to avoid inconvenience.
