The historical monument, Charminar was built by Quli Qutub Shah, the famous Urdu Poet of Deccan. A notice board has been erected at Charminar for the benefit of the tourists but the strange thing is that Urdu is absent on it. The instructions are in English, Telugu and Hindi. It only shows that the officers of Archeological Survey of India are biased with Urdu.
