Bhopal, June 20: Amid speculation about Uma Bharati’s possible return to the BJP, the party’s Madhya Pradesh chief today said there has been no talks at any level in this regard.
“No one either at the national level or even at the state level has discussed with me on the issue of Uma’s return to the BJP,” Madhya Pradesh Prabhat Prabhat told.
The BJP leader said that he had met Uma Bharati at a function held recently in Chhattisgarh following the death of Chief Minister Raman Singh’s father.
“No politics was discussed with Uma and we confined ourselves only to family matters,” he said.
There has been lot of speculation about Uma Bharati’s return to BJP after she quit the presidentship of the Bharatiya Janashakti party.
