No support for Modi in rescuing his friend: VHP

Ahmedabad, August 04: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and the Bajrang Dal did not offered support to Gujarat CM Narendra Modi in bid to rescue his close friend and former Home minister, Amit Shah, who was arrested in Sohrabuddin fake encounter case.

Khaleej Times reported that a VHP leader revealed they will not support Modi because he had been fighting elections in his own way and had deserted the Hindu organisations and now he is playing the tit-for-tat game.

On Jul 25 Amit shah had been sent for 14-day judicial custody after he surrendered himself before Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in Sohrabuddin fake encounter case. He was accused of of murder, abduction and extortion.
