Nawab Mir Osman Ali Khan, the VIIth Nizam of Hyderabad built Osmania Genral Hospital for treating the patients but today, it is in bad condition. There is no arrangement for maintaining cleanliness. Buildings are not maintained properly. One can guess the state of affairs by visiting this state hospital.
Chandrakant (40) came to Hyderabad from Madhya Pradesh in search of a job. He got his leg injured in an accident. He was rushed to hospital where plaster was mounted on his leg. Some medicines were given to him. After this treatment, he was left alone on the road at 11 pm when the staff reporter of Siasat visited the patient again the next morning, puss was coming out of his leg. At the same time a man was seen carrying his son towards the hospital. The boy was seriously injured and was crying with pain.
He was running from one department to the other. There was no stretcher available in this big hospital.
