No shortage of doctors in AP dist : Minister

Andhra Pradesh Health Minister D L Ravindra Reddy today informed the Assembly that there was no shortage of doctors and staff in the Community Health Centres of Ramannapet and Nakrekal in Nalgonda district. Replying to a notice given by Congress MLA C Lingaiah during Question Hour, the Minister said there was no proposal to upgrade Ramannapet Community Health Centre from 50 to 100-bedded Health Centre. On the notices given by TDP legislators Y Srinivasas Rao, A Annapurna, K E Prabhakar, K Surya Naga Sanyasi Raju and Y Yella Reddy on whether it was true that public were suffering due to shortage of medical staff, basic amenities and medicines in government hospitals particularly in primary Health Centres, Mr Reddy said there was no such thing.
