No severe differences in party: Kripa Rani

Union Minister of State for Communications & Information Technology Dr Killi Krupa Rani has said there were no serious differences among the party leaders barring some trivial differences of opinion on some issues. She also made it clear that differences of opinion were quite natural in a big party like Congress as there was internal democracy and freedom of speech. She said the so-called differences among leaders in the ruling party were creation of the media and Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy knows how to deal with the situation.

The Union minister was speaking while participating in the Unified Council Foundation Annual Awards ceremony to the toppers in National-Level Science Talent Search Examination–2013 (NSTSE), Unified Cyber Olympiad (UCO) and State Level Science Talent Search Examination-2013 (SLSTSE) at Ravindra Bharathi here on Sunday.

She also felicitated students with gold medals, cash awards. Dr Yandamoori Veerendranath, eminent writer, Dr. B.V Pattabhiram, Psychologist, Dr Santanu Paul , CEO, Talent Sprint were also present. She honoured 39 National Level Rankers from NSTSE, 27 National Rankers from UCO, 24 State Rankers and 184 District Rankers from SLSTSE-A.P). Besides, she presented Best Teacher and Best Performance School Awards to the teachers and schools respectively based on respective school students’ performance. Britannica Encyclopedia and Brain Mapping Academy are partners in sponsoring prizes to the toppers by diginitaries.

Excellence in quality research in educational assessment programs and effective service are two key reasons for our existence’’, Srinivas Kallur, Director for Unified Council said. “Since its inception, Unified Council has been thriving to promote an eminently premium quality educational event by conducting National and State level science talent search examinations and Unified Cyber Olympiad. We are working to instill effective fundamental knowledge among the student community in Science, Mathematics and Computers’’, he added.

More than 6,00,000 students from class II to XII took part in these examinations to strengthen their fundamental knowledge in Maths and Science. Students from Indonesia, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Sultanate of Oman, Yemen, Russia, Bahrain, Qatar, Iran, Libya and Tanzania also participate in the examinations.
