No respite from heat for Delhiites

New Delhi, May 09: Delhiites did not get any respite from hot conditions today with mercury touching 39 degree Celsius.

The minimum has been recorded at 27.5 degrees Celsius, a weather official said. The high was, however, a notch below normal for this time of the year.

The humidity level oscillated between 24 and 62 per cent.

The Met officials have forecast mainly clear sky tomorrow and said that the mercury will remain between 27 degree Celsius and 39 degree Celsius.

The temperature had shown a declining trend in the past few days after touching a high of 43.7 degrees on April 24. A day later, the minimum had touched a 41-year high of 30.6 degrees.
