No reports sent to Centre on Telangana: Botcha

Hyderabad, July 31: Brushing aside the reports published in a section of the press that he has sent reports to the Congress high command stating that he has no objection even if the state was trifurcated, APCC president Botcha Satyanarayana has said that nobody had asked him to send reports to the Central leadership on Telangana issue. However, information about the prevailing situation in the state was being forwarded to the high command from time to time, he added.

Talking to newsmen at Gandhi Bhavan here on Saturday, APCC chief made it clear that he would abide to the decision the Congress leadership takes on the issue.

There was nothing wrong in placing demands for Manyaseema or Greater Rayalaseema but it was for Centre to take a final decision on state bifurcation, he said.
