MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi did not get any relief either from Nizamabad court or Sangareddy court in two different cases that he is facing.
A Nizamabad court has sent MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi to police custody for two days in the hate speech case and allowed police to interrogate Akbaruddin Owaisi for two days on February 1 and 2. It must be noted that Akbaruddin Owaisi was arrested in Hyderabad on January 8 by the Nirmal police for making a hate speech at a public meeting at Nirmal town in Adilabad district on December 22. He has been arrested on the charges of hurting the sentiments of a community during his speech.
In another case the Sangareddy court has rejected Akbaruddin Owaisi’s bail petition in a case of 2005 of alleged assault on the then District Collector. A case was registered on MIM leaders for allegedly abusing the then District Collector AK Singhal. MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi is the Accused No 1 while Akbaruddin Owaisi is Accused No 2 in the case.
