Mumbai, Nov 25: : With Kasab’s trial almost heading towards a conclusion, the lawyer defending for the 26/11 terror suspect Ajmal Kasab has now complained of lack of privacy. According to the defending lawyer, it has become important for both him and his client, the lone hostage terrorist to have private discussions.
Abbas Kazmi, the acting counsel of Kasab declared that judge has granted the request to to conduct interviews of Kasab but for a short duration of time ranging between 10 and 15 minutes. While talking to the reporters Kazmi revealed that the court has however not given the nod to take interview in private.
The judge has given the green signal to conduct interviews in the court itself and moreover, that has to be within the earshot of policemen and the court staff.
When Kazmi was asked about his experiences on dealing with Kasab he retorted by saying that both of them discuss only about the legal aspects and Kasab hardly ever conveys any feelings to him.
Declaring that he has given him some story books in Urdu, Kazmi asserts that mood swings of this Pakistani terrorist is mainly because of the monotonous life he is leading and the frustrating times he is going through.
