Telangana Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy today appealed to the staff of his department to improve their services to fulfill government promise of supplying uninterrupted power to the people.
The officials should inform to the people in advance on power cuts to avoid problems, he said.
At a program of Electricity employees here, the minister said that the government has kept its promise of supply power that sans any cuts. There is no problem in supplying 24 hours power, he maintained.
Despite short time power cuts at some places or other, there is no problem for supplying power to all sectors, the minister remarked. Jagadish Reddy also warned of serious consequences if the staff neglects their duties and failed to comply with norms. The Government is purchasing power from private companies in a transparent manner he added.(NSS)
