City Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma on Saturday categorically stated that permission would not be granted to the proposed Chalo Assembly rally proposed to be held on June 14 by the Telangana Political Joint Action Committee.
Talking to reporters after reviewing the security arrangements for the Assembly session scheduled to begin from June 10, the Commissioner said that no one has sought permission for the Chalo Assembly rally. However, he said since no such programmes were permitted in the past, permission would not be granted to the Chalo Assembly rally, even if asked by some organisation. He warned of stern action against those who violate the prohibitory orders.
Anurag Sharma said that elaborate security arrangements would be made for the assembly session that begins on June 10th. (INN)
