No place for Chand Mohd in Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC): Bishnoi

Chandigarh, Jun 24 : Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) supremo Kuldeep Bishnoi today ruled out the possibility of induction of his brother Chand Mohammad in the party founded by their father and former chief minister Bhajan Lal.

”There is no place for him in our party,” Mr Bishnoi said while responding to reporters’ queries about his brother Chand Mohammad alias Chander Mohan who was removed as Haryana Deputy Chief Minister after his controversial marriage with Fiza.

The Bhajan Lal family had broken its ties with Mr Chander Mohan after he converted to Islam and married Fiza alias Anuradha Bali who was former Deputy Advocate General of the state. Chand, however, deserted Fiza later and attracted another controversy by giving her Talaq through SMS. Fiza filed a case against Chand charging him with cheating and rape.

However, despite all the acrimony between them, Chand once again came back to Fiza recently and said he had been taken away from her by Bishnoi’s men.

Mr Bishnoi today said the Bhajan Lal family had broken all ties with Chand Mohammad and they had no political relations with him as well. The HJC had recently forged an alliance with the BSP in Haryana in view of the coming assembly elections.

The BSP also slammed its doors for Fiza in case she wanted to join the party.

To a question, BSP leader Mann Singh Manhera, incharge Haryana, said his party would not induct Fiza if she desired so.
