New Delhi: BJP president Amit Shah on Sunday expressed confidence about his party coming back to power in power in 2019 Lok Sabha polls and claimed that his party will rule the country for the next 50 years.
TOI with reference to Senior BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad quoted the party president as saying “the party will win the 2019 elections because of its performance and then no one can dethrone the BJP for the next 50 years. He told this at the national executive meet of the party.
Amit Shah informed that before the general elections of 2019, the party will contact 9 crore activists and 22 crore families and make them aware of the government’s policies and programmes. He asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi never took rest since 2014 elections. He visited 300 Lok Sabha constituencies and will also visit remaining 240 constituencies before elections.
Giving Ajeya Bharat, Atal BJP (undefeated India, steadfast BJP) slogan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also echoed Amit Shah’s thought that the party cannot be defeated for the next 50 years. He claimed that opposition neither has a leader, nor policy nor strategy.
