Hyderabad, August 18: The senior Telugu Desam party leader, Dr Nagam Janardhan Reddy, has said that there was no need for any TDP leader to call on the Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief, Mr K. Chandrasekhara Rao, as he was publicizing.
Talking to newsmen here on Tuesday, Dr Reddy pooh-poohed the claim of KCR that every day he was receiving phone calls from TDP leaders, urging him to admit them in the TRS. He said that if KCR had courage, he should disclose the names of those who had called him.
Stating that there was no need for any one in his party to call KCR and urge him for admittance into his party, Dr Nagam said that if late chief minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy were to be alive, the TRS would have been left without a leader. He said that it was mannerless on the part of KCR to talk that way about a party which gave him political life.
Talking about the claim of injustice to KCR in the TDP, Dr Nagam questioned if not being included in the cabinet was injustice.
Recalling that RDS was damaged even during the YSR rule, Dr Nagam has questioned why KCR had not opened his mouth then. He has alleged that KCR had organized a bandh of Mahbubnagar district only for political gain. Stating that it was going to be the TDP which would achieve Telangana state, he said KCR could write it down.
