No need to worry about swine flu: Minister

Health & Medical Minister C. Laxma Reddy has stressed the need to inculcate more awareness among the people about the dreaded Swine Flu.

           

Inaugurating administration of polio drops to children at Durgabhavani Nagar in Film Nagar on Sunday, Dr Laxma Reddy exhorted people to approach doctors immediately after recognizing symptoms of Swine Flu instead of getting frightened about the disease. Stating that all arrangements have been made in the government hospitals in the State for treating Swine Flu patients, the minister said the number of Swine Flu cases has come down when compared to the situation three years back.

           

The Health Minister disclosed that Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali has been admitted to the hospital on seeing the symptoms of Swine Flu and medical tests proved positive. The Deputy CM was recovering, he added. (NSS)
