Telangana Rashtra Samiti senior leader B. Vinod has said that there was no need to convene all-party meeting on separate Telangana issue.
Speaking to the media here on Monday, Vinod said the Congress was in favour of carving out separate Telangana State. Stating that it would take a final decision on the issue shortly, the TRS leader also clarified the Congress does not see Hyderabad city as a bone of contention as the city was an integral part of the Telangana region. He asked the Seemandhra leaders not to raise controversy over Hyderabad.
Charging Telangana opponent Parakala Prabhakar with unnecessarily provoking the Telangana people by organizing Vishalandhra meetings, Vinod said that Prabhakar, who spelt 100 reasons for maintaining status quo to should use his talent for development of the Seemaandhra region.
