No more Gandhigiri on currency notes, Hindu Mahasabha demand replacement

Following controversy over setting up the statue of Nathuram Godse in Sitapur, the Hindu Mahasabha in a fresh move demanded Mahatma Gandhi’s photograph on Indian currency notes to be replaced that of Chhatrapati Shivaji, Maharana Pratap and Dr B.R. Ambedkar.

It is a clear indication of the Hindu outfit with image of B R Ambedkar wants to woo the Dalit vote banks.

The Mahasabha’s working president Kamlesh Tiwari has sent a letter regarding this to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

They also urged the PM Modi that there is no official notification of Mahatma Gandhi as Father of the Nation, therefore why the students are being taught as such.’ Such fake thing should be immediately withdrawn from the books,’ Tiwari demanded.

Though the Mahasabha claims that there was no alliance with the RSS whatsoever, as far as “undivided Hindu nation” theory is concerned, both the Sangh pariwar and Mahasabha sail on the same boat.
