Islamabad: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday asserted that the government does not have the money to run the country. He was addressing bureaucrats at an event in Islamabad. Imran Khan blamed the previous governments for the financial crisis.
As reported by Pakistan-based Dawn News, the Pakistan Prime Minister admitted that majority of the population in the country was young and unemployed. Imran Khan asserted “we need to change ourselves and our nation.”
While accepting the responsibility of government towards the people, Imran Khan also urged people to own the government. He further said, “Maybe God has created the crisis because he wants us to change”.
Saying that he would stand by the bureaucrats if they work for the country, Imran assured the bureaucrats that he would protect them from any undue political pressure.
