Application forms for Hajj 2015 are likely to be issued from January 19. This year Telangana Hajj Committee will serve the Hajj aspirants of two states. Although split of Hajj Committee between the two states has been done, but due to absence of international airport in Andhra Pradesh and non-formation of separate Hajj Committee, Telangana Hajj Committee will have to take the responsibility of Hajj aspirants of both the states.
According to the officials of Central Hajj Committee despite formation separate Telangana state; there is no likelihood of increase in Hajj quota this year. Already fixed quota for united Andhra Pradesh will be divided between the two states according to their ratio of minority population.
