Mumbai, March 31: After a string of “should I” and “shouldn’t I”, Karan Johar has finally made up his mind. The filmmaker, who was planning to invite Salman Khan on his chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’ has decided to end this season of the show without the ‘Dabangg’ star.
Reportedly, KJo wanted the magnanimous star to join him for a chat to end this season of his show. But the actor quoted a price as compensation, which discomforted the director.
Talking to a daily, a source close to Johar revealed, “He is happy to give any amount of money to Salman`s charity, but he doesn`t want it to be a condition for him to come on the show.”
Moreover, Johar believes that it would be unjust of him to be paying Salman Khan alone. Other celebrities who have made appearances on his show including Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan have never expected anything in return. So KJo thought it was best to put his plans of inviting Sallu as a guest to rest.
“Also, it is not fair to other stars like the Bachchans and Shah Rukh Khan who have appeared on the show in every season, if one pays one actor and not them. So, he decided to leave Salman out for now”, the source added.
No matter what, Salman knows who he is and doesn’t feel not having “Koffee” with Karan will make any difference to him.
Are we right Sallu?
