No injustice to Employees: Venkaiah

Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu today said there was no need of panic for employees of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States post bifurcation.
Addressing a media conference here on Saturday, the BJP leader said the employees can work from their respective places. President’s Rule will come to an end in Telangana State on the Appointed Day June 2, while it will continue in Andhra Pradesh State till June 8. TRS Chief K Chandrashekhara Rao will take oath as Chief Minister of Telangana State on June 2 and TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu will take oath as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh State on June 8.
The Union minister tried to allay fears that the employees of the State can work as usual. The Centre would take care of the employees, who can work in a conducive atmosphere. No injustice will be done to the employees of any State, he said. The Government will set up a system to redress grievances by looking into problems and issues and if anything goes wrong.
Reacting on vacant and supernumerary posts, the Union Minister said two State Governments will take a decision. He suggested that it is better if two Chief Ministers, K Chandrashekhara Rao and N Chandrababu Naidu discuss on issues related to Telugu people in both States and protect their interests.
The Union Minister also held a review meeting with Chief Secretary PK Mohanty, Urban Development and GHMC officials. Venkaiah Naidu is understood to have sought some reports pertaining to Urban Development and GHMC. (NSS)
