No exodus of Hindu families from UP’s Deoband reported: Union MoS

New Delhi: Union Minister of State, Home Affairs, Mr. Hansraj Gangaram Ahir while replying to the question made it clear that no matter of exodus of Hindu families from Deoband was reported.

According to the report published in New Indian Express, the minister said that as per the report received, no incident of the exodus of Hindu families in Banhera Khas Village, Deoband were reported.

It may be mentioned that Bajrang Dal and Vishva Hindu Parishad had reportedly released a list of 40 Hindu families that left the Deoband.

It is also reported that Regional Secretary of VHP, Vikas Tyagi had claimed that Hindus in Western UP are living in fear.

However, the reply of the Union Minister proved that right-wing parties had leveled fake allegations.
