The TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has alleged that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was trying to disturb the rural areas, which were peaceful till date, setting up Rythu Samakhya Samithis.
Speaking to the media here on Saturday along with Congress Kisan Keth state president M Kodanda Reddy at Gandhi Bhavan, Bhatti said that the conspiracy was going on to disturb the villages in the name of Rythu Samithis. The Chief Minister turned as most dangerous one with his falsehood talk and fake assurances. KCR has weakened the projects like Devadula, Pranahitha, Kanthanapally on Godavari river. KCR was wasting public ex-chequer in the name of redesigning of projects and hatching conspiracy to see that the water will not reach the fields.
Bhatti said that the former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy stood in the hearts of poor with introducing welfare schemes. He alleged that about 50 lakh acre would have cultivated if the projects launched by YSR. TPCC working president has asked Irrigation Minister to tell as to what schemes TRS was newly introduced and implemented. Not a single scheme mentioned in the manifesto was implemented by the TRS government, he pointed out.
Asking Harish to tell as to why he responded if Congress leaders’ knowledge was waste, Bhatti said that there were Congress coverts in TRS party and TRS leaders themselves endorsed it. He said that the Congress party has its own strategies as a political party. “We will not divulge their names”, he said and made it clear that there were no coverts in his party. He also made it clear that he has no differences with TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy. “We both of us said same on G.O.No.39. We are going in coordination. No Congress leader would join BJP. The Congress will come to power in 2019 elections.”
Kodanda Reddy alleged that there was no transparency in the proposed Land Survey. Stating that the land survey was a bogus one, Kodanda Reddy asked the state government to make the land details if the government was sincere towards farmers. The government was trying to destroy the farmers’ community in the name of Rythu Samithis. He said that the Congress party would approach Courts on the issue. (NSS)
