Munger (Bihar), Oct. 8 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sushil Modi dubbed Rashtriya Janata Party (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav as ‘anti-Dalit’, saying that the latter had ruined Bihar during his tenure as chief minister of the state.
“Lalu Yadav does not have anything to do with development. He is the biggest anti-dalit around, not even a single dalit or mahadalit will vote for Lalu Yadav. Lalu Yadav did not give any reservation to Schedule Castes and Schedule Tribes in Panchayat election of 2003,” Modi told ANI.
“Why didn’t he give reservation to backward most during his regime? Lalu has ruined an entire generation of Bihar during his rule,” he added.
Lalu had earlier today accused the BJP of being ‘anti-dalit’ and ‘anti-poor’.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during a rally at Munger, took a jibe at Lalu’s beef remark and said the latter has insulted the entire ‘Yaduvanshi’ community. (ANI)
