No-confidence motion against zilla parishad officer passed

A no-confidence motion against zilla parishad chief executive officer Arun Shinde was passed unanimously at a special meeting convened for the purpose on December 4 here. There was resentment among zilla parishad members against Aurn Shinde for his alleged dictatorial style of functioning, according to a joint press release issued by BJP group leader Deorao Bhongale and Congress group leader Satish Warjurkar. When his alleged adamant attitude and corrupt administration crossed its limits, members decided to convene a special meeting to pass a no-confidence motion against him as per provisions under Section 94 (3) of the Maharashtra Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti Act, 1961, the release said. Zilla parishad members from BJP, Congress, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Shiv Sena, Shetkari Sanghatana, Maharashtra Navanirman Sena (MNS), Bahujan Samaj Party and other members passed a unanimous resolution no-confidence motion against Shinde and urged the government to call him back from his service at Chandrapur, the release said.
