Hyderabad, July 30: Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy may not be able to undertake another leg of Odarpu Yatra, a pahse of which concluded at Kakinada in East Godavari district today since the party high command will set right the state unit’s affairs soon, senior Congress leader and MLA from Secunderabad Cantonment P Shankar Rao has said.
“There can be no comparison between Rahul Gandhi and Jagan. If Rahul tours the state the Congress will retain power in the state. Those speaking against the party high command will not get ticket in the 2014 general election. I strongly believe that after the 2004 and 2009 election experiences the party high command will not give party tickets to businessmen and or contractors,’’ he said while talking with reporters at the Congress Legislature party office here today.
Rao strongly reacted to the remarks made by Jagan’s strong supporter Ambati Rambabu, saying the former PCC secretary crossed his limits by talking of party matters before the media.
“Any one may dig into APIIC’s affairs during the period when Rambabu worked as its chairman in YSR’s regime to know his true colours,’’ Rao said and urged chief minister K Rosaiah to order an inquiry into APIIC “misdeeds’’ that took place during Rambabu’s chairmanship.said.
