Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi slammed BJP leader Advani for his baseless remarks in which he held illegal migration from Bangladesh responsible for the ethnic riots in Bodoland Territorial Administered Districts (BTAD).
Assam chief minister refuted the claim that Relief camp inmates are Bangladeshis. He reiterated that “What Advani has said is not true. They (Muslim migrants) are all Indian citizens. We condemn his statement.”
Gogoi condemns Advani’s attempt to aggravate the situation by making such utterances. He alleged that the BJP was trying to take political mileage out of the situation.
