No Amendments, only views: DY CM

Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha today slammed Seemandhra leaders for continuously stalling the House for preventing debate on Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Bill 2013.

Talking to mediapersons at his chambers in Assembly lobbies when the House was adjourned for second time, the Deputy Chief Minister said only expression of views on the bill is possible and nothing else. Mere demanding united resolution and stalling the House was not good for any party, he opined. He also differed with the idea of suggesting amendments to some clauses mentioned in the bill which seeks only views of the House.

He also took serious exception to the Seemandhra TD leaders and YSRCP leaders for meaninglessly disturbing the proceedings in the House. How they can demand that the House pass a resolution on united Andhra Pradesh when it is ought to debate the bill, he retorted. The Deputy Chief Minister also ridiculed them for changing tack on the just demand of Telangana. (NSS)
