Hyderabad: Despite the time extended by Supreme Court to link Aadhaar Card with LPG cooking gas connection till March 31, consumers are facing difficulty in getting cooking gas. The gas companies in various states of the country have stopped refilling the LPG if the consumers have not linked their Aadhaar card details with their gas connection.
Indian Oil Corporation officials have to say that complaints have been received that some consumers face difficulty in booking gas. It says that the complaints have been received from Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu states. Complainants told that they faced difficulty booking gas cylinders in the month of January.
However, no such complaint has been received from twin cities Hyderabad or Secunderabad or any part of Telangana.
