Nizamabad MP K. Kavita met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Thursday and brought to his notice a host of issues pertaining to the Telangana State.
Speaking to the media persons after the meeting, the TRS leader said that she had urged the Prime Minister to set up Turmeric Board in Telangana and ensure that the MSP for turmeric crops is raised.
Kavita said that the Prime Minister was visiting for the first time to Telangana since his assuming the office and that she had extended her greetings for the same.
Narendra Modi is visiting Telangana on August 7 to take part in various development projects including inaugurating the Mission Bhagiradha in Medak district. (INN)
