Nizamabad man died of cardiac arrest: Police

Hyderabad, March 19: The Alsarar police in Saudi Arabia, who investigated Nara Goud’s case, in their report said they have `information’ that Goud was shackled and left under the sun for several hours with resulted in his death on June 18, 2009.

According to the postmortem report, whose copies are available with those who are known to the victim’s family, the death certificate issued in Nuairyah by Eastern Province Police of Saudi Arabia said the victim died in Albadyah due to cardiac arrest.

The report is understood to have mentioned that shackling of his hands might have resultd in physical effort (to free them) which could have led to increase in stimulation of nervous system and the pressure on the heart.
As the victim originally was a heart patient disease, shackling could have hastened the death.
