Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on Tuesday asked PM Narendra Modi to show some moral courage and accept his insufficiencies in delivering on old promises”. He said respect the sentiments of people of Bihar who have been troubled by your unkept promises & unsavoury comments,” Nitish said in a series of tweets directed towards the Prime Minister.
He also demanded that the Prime Minister to take back his words on referring Bihar as ‘Bimaru’ and the people ‘unfortunate’.
Nitish added that he wanted the Prime Minister to deliver his promise of Special Status to Bihar.
“Show moral courage to live up to your 2014 election promise of decriminalization & announce no ticket to candidates with criminal background,” Nitish added.
Earlier, in a befitting reply to Prime Minister Modi’s DNA jibe, Nitish Kumar said that the people of his state will be sending samples of their hair and nails to the Prime Minister’s Office for a DNA analysis.
Prime Minister Modi addressed his fourth Parivartan rally at Bhagalpur today and attacked the Nitish Kumar-led state government for the ‘deteriorating’ conditions in Bihar.
